Hello, and thank you for visiting this page. I'm a full-time professional animal photographer and my specialty is dogs. Those beautiful creatures give us unconditional love and devotion but sadly, do not stay with us long enough.
I am based at Diamond Beach, Hallidays Point, and cover locations including Old Bar, Taree, Wingham, Gloucester and Port Macquarie.
Senior Dogs - a Celebration of life
Our dogs - they are so precious to us in every way and there's very little we wouldn't do for them, their only failing is they don't stay with us forever. Quite a few people who booked Christmas sessions with me said they did so because they didn't know if it would be their dog's last Christmas and they wanted precious memories.
Like most people (and me) you probably have many photos of your best buddy or buddies on your phone. And, maybe like me, you would love someone else to capture beautiful images of your beloved dog and perhaps you to be in the shot and not behind the camera.
How do we define a senior dog?
It's usually when your lovely dog starts to arrive at a certain age that you notice changes - the greying of their muzzle, slower to sit or rise, cloudiness in those adoring eyes, wanting to be close to you more than usual, maybe not hearing so well. They may have a relapse to their puppy behaviour, then they want a good long sleep or just a cuddle.
They have character in their faces which tells the story of their life, whether they came to you as a puppy, adopted as an older dog or rescued from a shelter. You know their story so you will be the judge.
They have been our best friend, our comfort during difficult times, they've frustrated us, chewed treasured items, and dug up the garden but at the end of the day we wouldn't have it any other way.
They may have led very busy lives - working or herding dogs, therapy dogs, agilitydogs, sled dogs and best of all, wonderful companions. Sadly some may be enduring an illness that impacts on their lives. Now it time for them to enjoy their golden years, to be pampered and if possible, loved even more.

- There is no upfront fee, just book your session, have the session, and come back to see your photos and choose what you love.
