Amaroo Whales August 5
It was a stunning day out on the water and just one whale kept us company for the whole cruise. He or she seemed to enjoy popping up one side or other of the Amaroo and then slowly swimming along underwater, then ever so slowly rising to the surface. We moved on to check out the dolphins caught up in a feeding frenzy on a bait ball with the Gannets joining the party. Then we looked back to see our whale entertaining a very small fishing boat with some enthusiastic tail slaps. There were a lot of children on board and they all got an opportunity to see the whale and the dolphins.
