Many dogs just love the beach - especially when they can run and play to their heart's content. Some beaches require dogs to be on a lead and others are more relaxed. All beaches expect that the owners will be responsible for their dog's behaviour and clean up any droppings. Then everyone can have a great time.
Whether they are just contemplating the sunrise, hanging out with their people or trying to catch the waves there is a never-ending variety to the images that can be captured of your wonderful companion.
Sam and Cara like to take it easy whilst I am photographing the sunrise.
Other dogs like to carry rocks and bury them here and there only to dig them up again.
What to do with my photos?
Create beautiful memories - artwork for the desk or wall. Maybe a wonderful album to remember the day and the joy of your dog or dogs as they played happily.
I love to photograph the action dogs as they chase a ball or stick into the water. Some days I am out in the waves and photographing the dogs as they launch themselves into the water.
It's best to schedule your session for early morning or late afternoon - the light is the best and usually, the beach is quieter.
If you are concerned your dog may run off, never to be seen again, we can use a leash that's removed in photoshop.
